Most of us are searching for something larger than ourselves—for a connection to the beauty, mystery and compassion of God and for life in community that is real and meaningful. We invite you to explore St. Paul’s, and we hope that you will find a spirituality and practice here that will support and challenge you as a Christian and will give you a place to belong.
Attend one of our Sunday Services (at 8:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.) and the coffee hour afterwards in our parish hall. There you will meet the rector and other clergy, members, and other newcomers.
Fill out a Welcome card or sign our Visitor’s Book (both found in the church) or e-mail parishoffice@stpaulseattle.org with your information or any questions you may have.
Come to a Newcomers’ Gathering. These are informal opportunities for the rector and others to get to know you a bit better as well as a chance for other newcomers to meet each other. Newcomers’ Gatherings are held at the rectory are scheduled on weekday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Check the events page to see when the next event will be held. For more information on newcomers’ gatherings, e-mail melissa.skelton@stpaulseattle.org .
Come to Evening Prayer during the week at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel. Teams of parishioners lead Evening Prayer in our chapel (enter through the red door at the top of the stairs off the small parking lot on 1st Avenue North) Tuesday through Sunday at 5:30 p.m. (check for summer schedule). This is a low-key way to pray with and get to know a small group of people at St. Paul’s.
Sign up for a Foundations Course: Our Foundations courses take place once a quarter and are held on a weekday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the parish hall.
Contact the Rector, and have a cup of coffee: Mother Melissa is interested in getting to know newcomers and visitors. E-mail her at melissa.skelton@stpaulseattle.org if you’d like to meet at a local coffee shop for coffee or tea and conversation.
